Why M101 SkyWheel?

M101 SkyWheel was originally planned as an iconic twin-tower development in Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur, designed by Studio F.A. Porsche, featuring a unique red-and-black exterior with Malay design motifs.

It was envisioned to house the world's first Sky Ferris Wheel on the 53rd floor (220m above ground), the first Planet Hollywood Hotel in Asia, and the world's highest Sky Retail Mall (SkyMall) spanning 200,000 sq ft across multiple floors.

The project was strategically located with an underground MRT station (Kampung Baru North MRT Station) planned at its doorstep, offering seamless connectivity.
