EcoWorld Records RM3.84bil Sales in 10 Months, Surpasses FY25 Target
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18, 2025 – Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld) has once again demonstrated strong performance by recording RM3.84 billion in sales within the first 10 months of FY25, surpassing its full-year target of RM3.5 billion ahead of schedule.


Iskandar, Klang Valley and Penang Drive Sales

According to president & CEO Datuk Chang Khim Wah, Iskandar Malaysia remained the top contributor with RM1.99 billion in sales, followed by Klang Valley (RM1.47 billion) and Penang (RM378 million).


Residential Segment Anchors Growth

Residential developments continued to be the group’s backbone, contributing RM2.08 billion year-to-date. Landed homes under the Eco Townships pillar were particularly strong, surpassing FY24’s full-year performance with RM1.39 billion in just 10 months.
Breakdown of sales:

Eco Townships (Residential): RM1.39 billion (54%)
Eco Rise (Mid-market residential): RM690 million
Eco Hubs (Commercial): RM525 million (14%)
Eco Business Parks (Industrial): RM280 million (32% of industrial sales)
QUANTUM (Flexible space solutions): RM960 million


Strong Financials and Dividend Rewards

For the third quarter ended July 31, 2025 (3Q25):

Net profit rose 25.8% to RM101.2 million (3.40 sen per share).
9M net profit increased 41.4% to RM311.3 million (10.50 sen per share).
Revenue surged 45% in 3Q25 to RM761.9 million, lifting 9M revenue by 34.6% to RM2.18 billion.
Future revenue pipeline stood at RM5.14 billion as at Aug 31, ensuring earnings visibility.
Net gearing ratio stood at 0.53 times, supported by RM1.7 billion in cash, deposits, and short-term funds.
EcoWorld also declared a third interim dividend of 2 sen per share, bringing total year-to-date dividends to 5 sen per share.


Strategic Move into Data Centres

In line with its long-term diversification strategy, EcoWorld is expanding into the digital economy. Construction of a data centre for Pearl Computing Malaysia Sdn Bhd is underway, with shell and core completion targeted in the second half of FY2027. This project is expected to strengthen EcoWorld’s recurring income base and support sustainable growth.

With strong demand across regions, healthy cash reserves, and diversification into technology infrastructure, EcoWorld is well-positioned to sustain growth momentum and continue rewarding shareholders.
