Selangor Dredging’s landed mid-rise project, DaMai in Taman Melawati 80% taken up
KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 30): Selangor Dredging Bhd (KL:SDRED) (SDB) announced that DaMai, its latest residential development in Taman Melawati, Selangor, has achieved an 80% take-up rate since its launch in July 2025.

Positioned as a “landed mid-rise” concept, DaMai features a 17-storey block comprising 306 units, ranging from 2,056 to 5,038 sq ft. Each residence comes with up to six parking bays right at the doorstep, offering a unique landed-style convenience in a vertical living environment.

“The encouraging response to DaMai affirms our focus on creating developments that are distinctive, sustainable and relevant for today’s lifestyles. Other ongoing projects

SDB’s other projects, 19Trees in Taman Melawati and Jia in Taman Bukit Serdang, are fully sold and expected to be completed by the end of 2025.

Financial performance

For FY2025 (ended March 31), SDB posted:

Pre-tax profit: RM29.71 million
Turnover: RM375.95 million
Net profit: RM21.92 million
Unbilled sales: RM105.88 million
Net asset backing: RM2.06 per share

Its hospitality arm, Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur, generated RM21.63 million in revenue for FY2025, supported by domestic tourism, inbound arrivals from China, and stable pre-purchase room contracts.

Shareholders also approved a single-tier final dividend of three sen per share.
